  Earth Angels  

Painted in Italy during her journey to paint Pope John Paul II,
the artist was inspired by a bright light that shown from behind
dark clouds while attending an outdoor mass ceremony with the Pope
at St Peter Basilica. There are Angels everywhere in the painting
beyond the obvious. The more you look, the more you will find. The
boot of the Italian geographic is cleverly placed among the clouds,
while there is much more than meets the eye at first, or even second
or third glance. The original oil painting was snapped up instantly
at its first showing at the New York Art Expo March 2005.
